I agree. I've had both a K&N drop-in filter and a AEM CAI. The CAI intake might have produced one HP more at high speeds, but besides that there just isn't too much of a difference. That was doen here in Houston where its hot as hell, so the difference might be more noticeable than if your in a colder climate. Either way the minute gains you might see from a CAI is not going to make you that much more of a speed demon.

Also, save your money and get a AEM short ram, there are no horespower gains......in my opinion....in my opinion!!!!!!!

there are a little hp gains between the CAI and short ram
but not much
1-2hp i think
but hey, hp is hp.

I agree, don't expect more horsepower from one and not the other. Go to home depot and get yourself a pipe and then go buy a K&N cone filter and you have yourself a CAI that is second to none.

OK... I bougt my intake from AutoZone back when they first started selling them, and was just thinking that a better intake might be worth it *shrug* even if it just helps the car breathe better a little bit.

Hell ya l bought mlne from autozone too. Only l think I should go buy a k&N instead of the one they sold. K&N should be worth the money compared to the other offbrand.
