Best C/F hood for an EG/EJ civc?
Im thinking right now either VIS or Fiber Images.
Does anybody have any pics of their cars with C/F hoods and can anyone tell me the pro's and con's?
thanx in advance.

Re: (Chillin94hatch)
I can tell you what hood NOT to buy.
Stay away from BKNW (Body Kits NorthWest) products in general. My cf hood looks ok its just after the first month the skeleton (frame underneath the actual hood) seperated from the hood and scarred my valve cover...actually its going to be a permanent scar until I can unload the hood.
My cf d/bill doesn't fit well and the edges are white there was also 1 crack in it to boot.
Next time its JDM ****. Hopefully next year. Theres nothing quite as aggravating as popping your hood open upon request to see an engine swap that you can tell is done perfectly just to see the valve cover scarred and crappy looking.....
I let andy know what my expectations were as I (like most people) have put a lot of time and money into my car. I let him know that if he couldn't fill my order...to the tune of about 1000 bucks I would glady go elsewhere.
The first shipment came in with a damaged hood right off the bat...so much for there quality control. andy apologized and mentioned that he didn't have anyone in shipping at the time (dont know if they fired everyone but the shipping manager) and to send it back.
Along with that shipment I also had a c/f d/bill which had a corner completely cracked off...andy insinuated perhaps it happened in shipping. The d/bill was wrapped with about 10 sq. feet of bubble wrap and was sent out in a very sturdy box, no way it could have happened in shipping.
I let andy know that I also own my own business and didn't want to see him lose money on the deal offering to help with shipping cost) but he paid for the shipping back to Washington St. So then he sends me another hood and d/bill packaged in the same box just smashed all together...real professional move there.
The hood I am sure would maybe squeek by the worst manufacturers q.c. process, however the condition of the d/bill was horrible. Its a piece of **** plain and simple.
Im in a quandry about the d/bill and hood at this point becuase I could not honestly sell either piece to anyone knowing how shabby they were made.
Yes I talked to andy about the other hood and d/bill....basically he said "well you got them, problem solved" So anytime I see someone posting where to buy a c/f product Im obligated out of goodwill to express my own personal experiences.
I know aftermarket parts aren't going to fit perfect, but this is beyond that. My buddy that I unfortunantly hooked him up with this deal (hoods ordered together) is experiencing the same seperation problem and his valve cover is looking just as crappy as mine now. Im not going to put words in anyones mouth but a mod. on h-t has spoke of this same problem from time to time.

and thats good, however the problem is the customer service afterwards...I probably got a bad batch.
Heck Im a business man myself and sometimes things go wrong, but we always solve the problem and make sure the customer is so happy that he will continue to buy merchandise from us.
