For a stock EX? Just go with what OEM recommends you don't need bigger brakes.

Yeah, the EX brakes are relatively big. They are the same as the 99-00 Si's I think. They are bigger than DX's and other models. Try some nice pads and braided brake lines.

what tracks???? and street racing?? OMG!! haha you 17 or something??

EX brakes are perfect....just spend money on pads........look at Cobolt Vr4's(sp?) you'll end up spending 100 bucks on front pads but they are worth it if you go to "tracks' like you say........."better not mean the drag strip"

IMHO: good fluid, SS lines and good pads will make a VX stop on a dime!! yes with 9in brakes...

no they don't.6th gen only Si had rear discs.for the 5th gen,ABS equipped civics did.
to the original poster-get some good pads, new blank rotors and some good fluid;you'll have more than enough braking power.

I say a full GS-R disk brake swap. Good pads/rotors and you're golden.

Well then I didn't know 8 people would post ***** and correct me ^_^. I guess I figured since the del sol si came with rear discs(non-abs) same motor as ex that the ex would too.

If you arent doing HPDE's every weekend, and the most stress you put on your brakes is mild autocross...i'd say a set of axxis ultimates and some ATE superblue fluid will be just fine

if you haven't been on track yet, use your stock brakes.....then go from there...just get good pads ...

I made the mistake of not going out to the track stock...I went out with full suspension etc etc......
