best bang for your buck....drag racing wise..what motor?
im building an eg hatch and have a good idea what kind of motor i want to put in the car....this car is pure buisness and no bullshit this car will not see the street and i have a gt40 sitting next to me as i type this....what kind of motor would you put in your car to do the best in the quarter?

i think the gsr is a great platform...its really all about preference tho...obviously the more displacement the more power you will make... what were you thinking on doing?

Pure track and no street.
F22 block with an H2B adapter plate and a Type R transmission
(Use the F22 block instead of the H22 block because the F22 has regular steel sleeves, not the FRM composite that the H22 has)

i personally like the ls vtec turbo setup myself it has the displacement but idk about the strength and durability also thinking a boosted k swap

Yup, F/H head, H2b, TypeR is noice...
or b20/vtec with darton mids, pistons, rods, hardware and a 250 shot. Could be fun.

Good luck finding affordable rods and pistons to slap in a F22 block. You would be better off sleeving an H22 throwing an F22 crank in it and going forged from there.
Then crank up the boost til she purs.
But oh yeah don't forget a B-series tranny for high boost I would say B16 tranny with gsr 4th and LS 5th keep 4.4 FD and you should have fun.
H2B all the way unless you have killer deep pockets then you know what to use.
