Visibility is fine, since you get full adjustment of the mirrors. However, the only thing I had to get used to was that the driver side mirror was convex as well. Fits just fine. However, they dont' look as good as the non powered, the design of the mirror is a bit different. You can see how the mirror base is not as flat as the non powered ones.</TD></TR></TABLE>
wierd. i have tyc manual mirros, but my driver's IS NOT convex. mine are DOT approved. i dont think they could have gotten the approval if the driver's side was convex. anyways, i like 'em. fit and finish are perfect, and visibility is pretty much as good as stock. the only things i dont like about them are that they dont sit completely flush with the door (they stick out a bit), and that they dont have the interior joystick adjustment. i have tweeters there now to cover up the hole

The TYC mirrors look weird on the car because the mirror housing sticks out from the base and makes the mirror look awkward, if you're going for that true Spoon look. Where as the real Spoon replica mirrors, like what we carry, the mirror housing sits flush against the panel that bolts to the door. Here's an example of what I'm talking about.
EDIT: After looking at the TYC mirrors closer, the mirror housing sits flush, but it's the base that sticks up and out and is not a low, flat surface like the picture above. But get whatever mirrors you want to and whatever you think looks the best.
