bent valve
alright guys, i installed a new timing belt on my b16a2 and obvisously messed up...i have done plenty but this one screwed me. any way when i didnt doulble check and fired the car up it ran at first and then cut off. i then double checked the marks(i know im an idiot). once i lined it back up the car will hardly run and when i throttle it, it just feels like it is hard to rev. its like it hit a brick wall..before i do the compression check any other opions?? i think it is a bent valve, but i thought i would share...

check the timing again... before you run it. Also, do the compression test. It's the only way to tell what is going on. We can tell you everything and anything, but YOU have to test first. More than likely you bent more than just one valve. Pull the head and then remove the valves... look at them and check them to spec. If they are out, get new ones.
