bent front subframe?
Has any one had a bent front subframe? I replaced all bushings around car new control arms ball joints ect... I was in at the Honda dealer getting an alignment and the drivers side caster is off. they said that the subframe was probably bent.
Is this common? has anyone else had this. Did new subframe fix the bad caster if you had it?
Its a 95 vx

Re: bent front subframe? (tatmark1)
It could cause bad caster from a bent subframe but it depends on how bad it is bent, also a bent strut can cause the same problem.

well i know any amount of bend on that subframe is going to throw it off. I would say its either that or lower control arm.
oh and it has new struts

Has the car been in a wreck?
You must of hit some serious pot holes or something to bend it to effect caster.
Since you said you got new strut its probably subframes or lcas that are bent.
Better hope you bent the lcas though not the subframes
I'm so sorry mods I was.on my phone and I didn't see the date*
