Default Benen rear tow hook question

I just wanted to know how they are installed? Dpes it require drilling, or are there preexisting mounting points?

Heh, good one. But on a more serious note, I've actually heard of some cases where people have the tow hooks on their car (front and/or back) and while parallel parked in between some other cars, there have been "repo-style" trucks that come by a night and latch onto the tow hook and yank your car right out of it's parked spot, and load it up and drive away. That's why I only put tow hooks on my "race" cars now that only see the track and that aren't driven on the street or parked at public places. I know of 2 people who had this done to them. Just a word of caution.

But cars come with a tow hook from the factory, so it wouldnt matter whether or not u had a benen tow hook. It can still be towed just as easily either way.

Stands out more, eaiser to get to, and usually on cars with "mods" done to it so it's more susceptible to theives, but it's always going to vary for everyone's car. Again, I just gave a head's up example of what could happen.

i got them becuase if i had them when my car broke down i could ahve had the car towed home with a rope instead of $150 for a tow truck
Bash all you want but when your bumper/lip is lower than the factory tow hooks this is the only thing that is gonna save the body work when you need hauled up onto a falt bed, towed off teh race track, or pulled up onto my car trailer, yes i track my car
