Default Behind Fhywheel??

Just took my stock flywheel off my b16, replacing with lightened unit. Now what is the pump looking thing behind the flywheel? Do I need to replace that? Should I?

He may just be refering to the plate the flywheel bolts up to. Who knows, never seen any pump there.

no just bolt your new flywheel on and enjoy the quicker revs

unless of course its leaking oil like a civ, replace the seal in that case

I don't like chinsing when it comes to my car. Her name is Desiree BTW...

he means the mounting plate for the flywheel.

I've never done it or even looked into or know anything about it. But what about the pilot bearing, i think he should replace that....but I don't know I may be stupid and it comes on the flywheel or something.

But yea, you might as well replace that seal wile your in there. I think I might cause I need a new trans even though I have no leaks whatsoever.

Usually that little baring comes with a clutch kit (I know CM gives you one) and yes you should replace that as well as the rear main seal.

throwout bearing almost always comes, and always do the main seal, cheap preventive maintenance

also make sure to get a helms when replacing the rear main seal. i believe it's has to be within a certain spec so your flywheel doesn't contact and **** it up
