Any cheap one off of ebay should do.

The amount you pay to get the extra .5 hp will not be worth the money.

If you only have 115 hp it will. ANd what do you think of those high performance chips that makes the sensor think its cold air and they claim it boosts your hp by 20?

Thanks again

You got 4 choices, AEM, Injen, K&N or Generic Ebay crap. All do similar things. Not a whole lot. At most, if you're lucky if you pull 3-5 extra HP out of the car. The chips do nothing.
Stop believing the **** you see on ebay about gaining XYZ HP. It isn't going to happen.

A ram air style intake uses a hood scoop to bring air into an air box.

Well depending on what the chip is. For $15 I wouldn't expect much of anything but if you get a chip burner and a program for your comp you can burn your own.

Sideout909 has the software and a chipburner you could PM him and find out where he got it.

Well you obviously don't know you're 7th gen parts all that well. Cuz Comptech doesn't make ANYTHING for the 7th gen, and the Iceman is a short ram.

What chip do you know of that just tells the computer the air is colder and adds 20 HP?
None that I'm aware of, unless you believe what ebay tells you. Sure... get something that you can put on a dyno and mess with, but what's that gonna do to a stock engine?

First off for the intakes, the Comptech Icebox doesnt have to be made for the car to fit it. You can make it fit just about anything.

As for the chip, you said that chips do nothing, I wasn't referring to that ebay POS that they are selling I was talking about chipping a car in general because you said it was useless.

And tuning can do more than you think to a stock engine. Fuel maps buddy, fuel maps.

That is definitely junk. It's a resistor that you put in place of the sensor. If anything, you'll be lucky if you don't damage your car. I did a search for a thread where those were talked about, but couldn't find it, maybe someone has a link?

Also, it's only a 5 cent resistor at that, that you're paying $20 bucks for. Read all the newbie threads here for some accurate information before beleiving some outrageous claims. 20hp isn't cheap to come by from bolt-ons by any means. As the saying goes: cheap, reliable, fast; pick two.

a swap is taking an engine from (in your case) a new Civic SI or RSX and putting it in your car, in place of your factory motor.

a turbo is prolly a little out of your league right now...

and btw, that "chip" you bought off ebay for $15 is actually a $.30 radioshack resistor which isn't gonna do anything but void your warranty
