Default Begginer

Alright, i have saved some money and decided to try to build my first motor. Now it is going to be my first build on a JDM engen so i was wondering what series i should do( D, B, H, Etc.). i have some know how but not much.
Can you guys give me some advise???????

if u dont have much know how get the B series, theres parts for those everyware

and if ur not up for that start out with a mini me

D series are cheap and if you mess that up its not too big of a deal. dont go and spend the money on a gsr or anything if youre not too confident.

that what i was thinking about, one of my friends has a b16 in his backyard that he said he would trade for some rotas that i have, but i was knd of looking more into a b18 or h sereis

oh i didnt mean to offend or anything like that. i just know that more people build those than D series, so i fuigured there would information avalibl.

d series are pretty much MADE for beginners, im acutally taking a z6 head and putting it on my d15 in a couple weeks

personally i would get a D series to start. liek some one said above mini me would teach you alot. I yet have to build a engine althought i have taken one apart totally and put it back together. IT was a Hydrolocked engine Btw.

not completly, there the perfect block to learn on. thats what i learned on!

and plus if u build them right they love turbos

F or H if you can.

LS-T if you wanna make a ****-ton of turbo power.

Turbo-D or LS w/ B16 trans if you're on a budget.

It depends, if you have a Y7 or a B7 they can be a very economical way to bolt on 25hp.

On the flipside, I've seen people spend WAY too much money on them (which makes them not worth it). It depends on how much you do it for.
