Default Beer Smell..?

Well I was giving a few drunken friends home, because I didnt want them to drive. So long story short, I ended up with an entire 40oz Natty Ice on my floor board.

How do I get this smell out of my car? I tried spraying it with numerous things.. They rid the smell for a few days.. then it comes RIGHT back.

Is there anything that will kill the smell? I heard lemon juice might.

Just want to know if Im going to have to change my carpet -.-

Thanks In Advance

-Cody

I am talking about actually using a carpet shampooer. Should work. If not, sell the car for a couple grand and blow it on cheap hookers and lottery tickets.

Get XO. It's an industrial strength odor remover. A lot of detailers I know use it.

You're a retard.

Get some decent odor remover (like I mentioned above, XO is great), and you should be fine. If need be, pull the carpet, and repeat the odor removal process, and let it dry over a couple of days. Don't pressure wash it, don't hardcore shampoo it. The adhesive that holds the backing to the carpet is shoddy at best.

Take out the carpet, shampoo it and let it dry COMPLETELY before putting it back in. Clorox your floor pans.

Febreeze FTW!!!! LMAO

Really... for the 4 bolts, 2 or so screws, and a few minutes of time, pull the carpet out and take it to the self serve car wash and spray it down and dry it in the sun or in the house. Spraying stuff on top of it will only drive the booze depper into the insulation and it will never get it out.

I think your going to have to remove the carpet. the beer probably got under the carpet and is drying on your floor boards.

happend to me with coffee one time. I took the carpet out and pressure washed it and I was actually happy cause it came out really clean.

you could keep it, and everytime a girl gets in the car she'd be like "what's that smell" and you could go on and tell her a willlldddd story and she'd say, "oooh i want some" and you go from there!
