Why would you want another rev limiter? The one from the factory is set where it is to let you rev a little past where peak power is made, but not too far where you will float valves or anything.

it depends on the type of limiter, the factory fuel cut limiter is very hard on the engine, it's only designed to prevent catastrophic failure, cutting fuel to an engine at maximum rpm isn't good for any engine, the fuel doesn't just power the car, it also cools the valves and keeps cylinder temp from spiking, having a car right at redline and fuel being cut on and off rapidly can induce all kinds of wierd stuff, including detonation, I have to laugh at the ricers who sit and bounce their engine off the limiter trying to be cool. If you are running something where you hit the redline all the time, use an msd box with soft touch rev control, or something like it, it cuts spark one cylinder at a time then fires that cylinder the next time around, you get a nice smooth rev limit that doesn't damage the engine.

well in this case the bee*r rev limiter is very similar its an ignition cut instead of a fuel cut

ive tried 2day and got it to work for about 10 seconds then it went out :/
