Beaks kit with the Suspension Techniques Rear Sway Bar
Will the kit work with the suspension techniques rear sway bar??
I have a 2000 civic.
It doesn't look like the kit will work since the endlinks on the sway bar connect to the bottom of each strut, rather than the lower control arm.
Has anyone tried this?
It also looks like other bars that connect on the LCAs have more of an offset from the subframe. My suspension techniques is practically sitting right on top of my subframe.

I'm curious too...... I'm pretty sure that the beaks kit will work, but now I'm begining to second guess myself. Can anyone shed some light on this subject.....

The beaks kit looks like it would move the bar too far backward because of the spacers and the bar would rub on the shock. The ST bar comes with a plate to go under the bracket to help distribute the load and i put big washers on the other side to make a sandwich of the sub frame. It's held up good so far. *crosses fingers*

Yeah, that's what i'm saying. i have the ST bar, and that's my primary concern.
I haven't "ripped" anything, but then again, i don't push it too hard either.

what about the bsq reinforcement kit, i think that would work since it doesn't space the swaybar out like the beaks kit.

<---- Looking for ways to reinforce the subframe with a 19mm rear ST sway bar.
I'm sure you guys know about the big metal plate that comes with the sway bar kit, I thought about just putting the biggest washers I can fit on the inside part of the subframe or just making some sort of steel plate. Not sure if that is enough.
Has anyone tried using the SRR rear lower tie with a ST bar? The swaybar mounts on the SRR tie are placed futher out, and I don't think it would work with the ST bar because the bend in the bar is where the bushing would be ( if that makes any sense).

I worry about this as well. but I have run several autoXes and a few track days with it on my hatchy and she hasnt given out on me yet. oh and I have a lower tie bar as well (which I think helps the frame be little more solid)

Re: (Navid OG)
I've been using the ST rear sway bars for over 2 yrs now and no cracks in the subframe from my car. I used the spacers and plates just like the instructions tells you. my car sees mountain and canyon runs on a regular basis. no problems here.

I'm still going with my original assumption.
