Battery relocation
I have been slowly cleaning up my engine bay of my ls swapped eg8 and have finally decided i want to relocate my battery. i have seen both the trunk and under fender relocations and after doing some research and taking into consideration i carry tools and what not in my trunk i want to relocate the battery to under the fender. after looking at many products one has caught my eye, the neukin, http://www.neukin.com/Neukin_honda_c...batterykit.htm. i was curious if anyone has experience with this kit. thanks in advance

That kit is expensive. Most people just relocate them to the trunk and use a battery box. Get a box for a boat, or I found a plastic ammo can on clearance cheap.

Re: Battery relocation
easiest way to do it to the truck since someone mentioned....is cut the battery cable to fuse box...install 100A breaker in between starter and fusebox and run a single cable to the truck from starter. Well I was doing this I could't figure out a clean way to do it, so maybe that will save you time no matter what route you go...

Re: Battery relocation
thanks guys for the info. I thought about the trunk but like I said I need as much trunk space as I can get. I have a pretty good idea how I'm gonna run the wires so there will be little showing. Hopefully ill be getting this really soon and ill post some before and afters and maybe do a lil write up

Re: Battery relocation
If you get the summit racing closed cell they're pretty small and easily relocate in fenders and whatnot. I've seen some people do them under seats, I think somebody had room to fit one behind a rear quarter IIRC. Summit racing has a good relocation kit as well, not as pricey as the PWJDM or the one above.

Re: Battery relocation
buddy of mine just welded up alil tray for the battery to sit in with L angled steel. then attached it welding a brace on each side from the front of the tray to the frame rail and one from the back of the tray straight up the frame rail. the angled steel will hold the base of the battery in pretty good if u want u can strap it down and ur good to go.
