battery cables

Default battery cables

ok so after countless times of removing my battery cables, they wont stay on. i mean that i can remove them with out unscrewing anything. i bought new battery terminals and was about to change them. i was just wondering is it better to buy new cables also or just use the existing ones? how easy is it to replace the battery terminals with the existing wires?

p.s. it a 2000 ex

just change the wires. Great time to upgrade,to gold terminals and thicker wire or even relocate to trunk.

Depends what is the condition of the old cables. If you have tools to put the connectors on then sure. However if you don't have the right tools to do it it might just be easier to just get new cables, they shouldn't be that expensive.

well they have the.....don't know what's the correct name but like a little flat sponge wipe almost thingy some cut up fabric that you can buy from the auto store and put on top of the battery connector and then place your cables it'll make it more tight and not come loose unless you just have a bad cable with bad bolts which you then need a new one
