Basic footwork for better handling?

Basic footwork for better handling?
Alright.. So most people focus on POWARHHHHGHH but I know that Footwork is essentially the most valuable thing any performance car owner can do. There's no point in throwing hundreds if not thousands of (insert currency here) at your engine and doing nothing to handling.
I'm going to use this car (EK3; UK 1.6 SOHC D16) as a daily driver and I will use it to commute between my little sleepy village home to work. This uses winding roads and town/city driving. I have a budget, which is about £1100 and my first thoughts was to run a B16 but after looking.. Their like £3000+ Without the gearbox..
So back to the drawing board..
I'm looking at HSD Coilovers, EBC Pads/Discs, Skunk2 or similar LCA and Teg rear trailing arms For rear callipers (Already have these).. I'm also going to grab some new Tyres maybe the Tokyo R888s?
I'll be keeping this car as a sleeper, only running a few things different with my D16 like Intake and Exhaust setup as well as a good service. I'll also hope to run an Apexi flow changer for exhaust sound output. Ideas?
Input?

I'm not sure what the question is here. Are you asking something or just making a bunch of statements?
It's gong to be sleepy alright.

Re: Basic footwork for better handling?
Sounds like it since the parts list is made already. The only thing I can advise is to skip the Skunk2 LCAs. S2 is good for engine internals, not so much for suspension.

Sorry! I meant to ask if anyone had any input such as Grumble's that I SK2 aren't too great for suspension.
I'll be working on the Internals at a later date once I've gathered some cash.
Do you have any suggestions for LCAs? Any idea if BWR are anygood? If I don't get the SK2s I'll grab them and the brace.. Maybe a Teg anti roll bar

kiss everything else goodbye and get ready to be shelling out for tires** often. those are NOT tires for a DD the're classed as semi-slicks.
function 7 is good but if I were you i'd just use the stock arm and get a better bushing

I'll look for uprated bushings of sorts. Wondering if someone like Polybush makes something that will work

Avoid BWR? Any specific reason? Are they another brand buying cheap Chinese knock offs? Also if I stick with standard LCAs should I switch to uprated bushes I.e poly bushes?

They are a knockoff company. That's pretty much documented. They make claims and cannot back them up. They don't honor warranties when parts break. They do none of their own R&D.
