BANG is what happened!
Well today I was driving my buddies '96 DX coupe with a $30 eBay short shifter. I busted a shitty and decided to mash it and grip second gear because it had been raining all day and as soon as I throw it into 2nd, I break his short shift off. I mean clean off. It was pretty funny. Luckily it broke off in neutral.
The moral of my story is that you shouldn't buy cheap short shifters off of eBay.

I have an unknown short shifter...
I don't know what kind it is b/c it was in the car when I bought it 2 years ago and I have yet to break it...

It's a shifter, not an arm wrestling buddy. I guess that's what happens when you have an abnormally strong right arm. You must exercise it a lot when you're mast-eRrrr- I mean shifting.
