Ballade 97 - Sometimes the starter won't crank engine
Hi.
I have a ballade 97; seems to be a intermittent starting problem where the car doesnt start after a long run. when i turn the key i hear the starter turning but the solonoid is not kicking in. What could be the possible cause for this? If the car cools down the next day the car starts perfectly. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

I got some feedback from another forum the guy says that he had to same problem with his. Turned out to be the bendix, when it heats up it slips. Could this be true?
