Have any of you used a ball joint press tool from autozone or a similar one to press your ball joint out. How hard was it to press the joint out. What you used. Also was it hard to press it back in.

I'll tell you right now....they dont work because our knuckles are too small. and you cant get the parts to fit.
(I tried this just 2 weeks ago)

You can hammer the joint out very easily but to get it in is another matter. If you try to use a hammer again you can bust the seal on top and pretty much break your **** all over again.

I just said the hell w/ it and paid a shop $25 to press it in...took a whole 2minutes. This was after I broke 2 joints trying the hammer (It has worked for me before though)

What shop did you go to to do this. What did they use and how did they do it.

just a local shop
they used an arbor press (wish I had one of those)
