Ball joint/cv axle question

I have a 92 dx hatch with a b16A (sir2) swap. Im putting my old drivers side axle back in and I notice after getting the axel in the Lower ball joint is like 1in off from the Lower control arm hole that its supposed to slide in? it seems like the cv axel is not letting it move any more could my axel be bad?

do you have the axles from the b16? i think you need them but i dont know much bout swaps. the balljoint can be moved. the bolt that comes out of the bottom can be swung around, try to move it to meet the hole in the lca and see if you can get it on. sorry i couldnt be more helpful
