Ball Joint
I was taking out my axles the other day and like an idiot not thinking i was trying to pop them out by hitting the ball joint bolt. "Where you put the cotter pin"
So long story short - The castle nut will NOT be going on there.
I went to a auto store near my house and picked up some replacement's.
"Moog Chassis" - Would you recommend me going out and buying others?
Has any one bought any replacement parts that were moog?

Re: Ball Joint (Distant B)
Moog makes great parts.
Although they are a NASCAR sponsor. They make tools like a modified C clamp to press those in and out. You might be able to rent one or make your own. Or even get friendly with the local auto shop people.

Re: Ball Joint (dirtyd463)
I bought two - Both lower ball joints because i fukd them up.
But one of the new ones i can move and one i cant.
Should i try to get a new one for the one that will not move?
Or should it be fine?

Re: Ball Joint (ARIZONA)
you dont have to get them pressed in. i had to replace one on my civic after i broke it replacing axles. slide it in from the top and then take a large socket or something with alot of surface area and hit the balljoint down. its reccommened to not hit the balljoint directly with a metal hammer- at least use a rubber mallot.once its in place install the locking ring from the bottom and you are good to go. mine is fine 8,000 miles later after installing it like this
