Default Baked Oil

Ya, so i just popped the valve cover off the h22a i just got. From the outside the motor looks good, its nice and clean, however under the valve cover it doesnt look like the oil was ever changed. and the whole 30k mile rumor is a bunch of crap. so anyways its like red and black under the valve cover, flaky oil and sludge....heres pics of it. Not sure what to do or what to expect from this...im sure the company i got it from isnt going to do **** about it since its that bullshit 100% startup warrantee and thats it. Is this thing going to be ok?????? Any suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.

heres pics of the inside

it looks like *** but should be ok...
clean out what you can. when you refil the engine with oil pour a quart all over the exposed head (with valve cover off) and rotate the crank a couple times by hand just to be sure you have some coating when you start it.

seems okay...do what Kamin said, should be fine.

Also use some good oil the first time, oil is not only a lubricant but also a detergent for your motor, it willl clean some of it out.......

More oil changes.I change my oil every 3000km.
It's not that bad, but not the best i've seen.
Don't forget that JDM engs. often aren't treated will, due to there short expected street life. Think about it; How would you treat your car, if you could only drive it for @30-40k miles.

That's what conventional oil does: just bakes off of hot surfaces. Use synthetic
