Has anyone tried painting the headlight housing (inside) the same color as the body? aka the new vette' style. I think it would look really cool and would be something different from the same old black.

Looks good .. but what brand/color did you use? Just black? I would have used Duplicolor Graphit (gunmetal) .. it makes them look much more real, since real CTR's aren't black, but a smoked/gunmetal color. But, looks good none the less.

sorry but im not sure if thats an aftermarket headlight or you did it yourself but if you did it yourself how did you do that??? i recently tried to open up my stock headlights on my eg but i cant so i just forget about it.

bake at 350 on middle rack, 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Good job on the baking. Just looks exactly like mines. I liked leaving the turnsignal part unpainted.

I actually thought about that, but i didnt know where to get it done at so that the paint is good quality. It would be hard to find a can of EBP for my headlights. I think it would look good.

not to jack your thread but here's mine...I didnt bake them I used a heat gun and a buddy and two screwdrivers and said a few swear words...well alot...I used semi-gloss black and it turned out great!!!

In short. Put ur oven to 300 degrees. Put the headlights in for 12 minutes. Take them out with oven mitts. Open headlights via screwdriver. Paint trim and NOT reflectors. Seal them up with clear epoxy.
