Bad Yellow?

Bad Yellow?
I'm installing my new Koni/GC setup and after we got the right rear we went onto the left. When we were setting up the setup we pushed down on the koni and it went to very easily and didn't come back up....i adjusted it to firm and did it again..it went down a lot harder but still didn't come back up. Could I have possibly gotten a blown shock from Koni?.....need to know asap before I throw it onto my car

if it went down really easilly....they are blown. They don't have to come up instantly.
If you push down on the shock and there is some force pushing back, they are good.

well....once i adjusted'em to firm they got harder to push down but didnt really come back up at all.....it's hard for me to fathom that i would've gotten a bad shock.....
