Default Is it bad to take out the Fender lining?

Obviously its there for a reason, but is it bad/harmful to remove it?
Its all eaten up cause of the ride height in the front..

dont do it man. you will get all sorts of crap in between the hinges where your door opens if you do that. Eventually whenever you open your door you will hear a crunching noise and it's just dirty. dont do it.

I agree. Half mine is missing from getting ripped off. I just ordered another one to replace it.

I DO have a recommendation though if you drive your lowered car in the snow... undo your lower two bolts that hold the bottom of the bumper on and remove the entire front spashguard. It will help you not get stuck in the winter.

i took mines off, it looks cleaner, and saves weight (JK!) hehe
of course i do live in southern california, where i seldom drive in rain, never drive in snow and the roads are perfectly clean and smooth 90% of the time, and i dont go offroad
...and my door doesnt make dirty sounds when i open and close it....fenders are pretty clean too....

It can't hurt to take them off. I have been driving without them for a long time, and there is nothing wrong with my car...It was worse with them because of the tire rubbing the fender liner all of the time. Taking them out will allow you the extra space you need.

Florida, however, I think they do get rain occasionally. Whenever I watch the news there is always storms there and ****.

Actually, we have flash floods a lot...I am constantly having to drive into washes that have water and really deep sand. Just because it is Arizona doesn't mean we don't get rain. We get a lot in the summer actually, and mine is fine without fender liners...

yea, here in Florida, in the summer time, it rains pretty hard every day, fortunately it is not for long and the sun comes right back out after (usually)

My drag radials ate the **** out of the bottom half of my fender lining. No big deal, even in the rain. Sometimes like said before, **** gets down into your door cracks, but with your door open, you can clean that **** out when your giving your car a nice bath!!!

I put an oil cooler in my front bumper where the fogs would normally go on an EG, without the fender lining, it lets a nice rush of air over it!!

If your really worried, there mostly there to protect **** from rusting and dirt getting all over it, you can spray clear coat spray paint on everything.

yeah i took all my inner lining out in the front on both sides and it wasnt that bad, only when it rained my intake try to suck up any puddle in sight. also if your car is slammed, when you hit bumps that rough part of your fender will eat into your tires.....
