Bad rear wheel bearing?

I got a knocking form the back of the car. I just bought it today and the PO said it had bad rear axles , since the car doesnt have rear axles i assume its the wheel bearing or could it be something else. Its a 93 del sol 1.5L 5spd with 200,000 miles.

Re: Bad rear wheel bearing?
i took off the tire and the rotor was loose, the screw that holds the rotor in place was broken, thats whats making the knocking noise. My question is it the rotors or the hubs or could it be the trailing arm bushing. I know the rotors have to be replace but i dont know about the hubs. When i was driving home my hunny was behind me and she said the rear wheels were wobbly.

Re: Bad rear wheel bearing?
With the wheel tightly mounted, the brake disc will be tight, the wheel presses it against the hub. Those mounting screws really don't do anything, the brake disc is not the problem. It may be hitting the caliper and making noise because of the sloppy bearing, but it's not the cause of the wobble.
Every Civic I've seen with high miles has cracked/broken Trailing Arm Bushings like you have pictured. I doubt that is the problem either.
Really, the only thing that can make your wheels wobble are worn out sloppy wheel bearings. Very easy to check, mount the wheel and check for verticle/horizontal play. There should be NONE.

well i replaced the rotors and pads today. it helped with knocking a little. One of the pins were frozen. The noise stops when im braking. I checked for play in the wheel and there was none.
