So you filled it up to full and then drove 50 miles and it went to almost half way right?
You probably have a stuck open injector. I would assume that the car is blowing black smoke also.

idk, can you give us more information? What car is it? And you def didnt get 50 mpg. Even driving like a little old lady you still cant get 50mpg.

Its possible its an open injector, but i've never heard of that happening.

Does it blow black smoke? IF your car is running really rich, it'll blow black smoke. Try filling it up to full then keep track of your mileage. Civic gas gauge as swings on me, one minute its at the half way mark then at the 1/4 then back up to half way.

no black smoke, nothing, car runs like always but it feels like some one is stealing my gas everytime i turn the car on and drive. like its really weird, and my car is all stock. it was normal before.....its like if i had a GSR ecu or something....idk

10w-30 is preferable, but 10w-40 will work fine. 30 thinner and better for colder temps. 40 is somewhat thicker and better in hotter temps.

Why would you put 10w40 in?

400 miles? Why do people find it so hard to do regular oil changes...that's probably why your car burns oil in the first place.

he lives in miami florida not canada.. i think he'll be fine

400 miles over an oil change isn't going to cause any major problems. its not like at exactly 3,000 miles the oil will just degrade instantaneously and cause catastrophic engine failure. thats ridiculous.

acutually d16sihatch...he did say he was 400 miles over his oil change. not to be a smartass...just sayin. lol and i would change the oil and check your injectors and o2 sensor. it really has stumped me tho...i would think you would have black smoke shootin out. my hatch does. lol

well our friend (ex friend now) did "steal" it, but he didn't really **** that up, at least not as much as we know atm. He just ripped the system out and sold it for crack, got his brand new tires slashed, grinded his gears, and broke his new starter, and cracked his dashboard.
