Bad ECT???
Ok, heres the problem i'm having now. When i'm just cruising down the road about 60-65 mph my temp gauge just randomly jumps between 1/2 and 3/4. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if the ect might be the reason its doing this. Also i'm using an Autometer temp gauge. Thanx again for any advise.

Then buy a ******' Helms if you don't like the speed at which you get answers.
The ECT sensor...the one that the ECU actually reads to get engine temp...is not the same sensor that is feeding a signal to the temp gauge in your dash.
So which sensor are you tapping off of to get a reading to your AutoMeter temp guage? Have you tried rebleeding your coolant system to eliminate that variable?
