bad compression on two cylinders (93 d15b7)
I have a 93 Civic DX. Had a B18C1 in it, removed due to the law, long story short I have a D15B7 again.
Well got everything hooked up. On initial turn key, engine cranks but no start. First thing I checked was firing order on the distributor (I usually get it wrong), found that it was one-off and fixed. Second turn key same result, sounds slightly better. Checked for spark - OK. I have a new distributor, plugs and wires. Checked for fuel - OK. Pushing ~40 lbs as normal. No CELs through this whole process.
Went on to check compression. Cylinders 2 and 3 are both 190. Cylinders 1 and 4 are both 60. Since I had new plugs, I took notice that the plugs from 1 and 4 were 100% clean and 2 and 3 were slightly discolored (normal). Could timing have something to do with this? I would imagine timing would affect 1 through 4 entirely. I did 1 and 4 with a bit of oil in them and no change in compression results.
Thoughts?

Re: bad compression on two cylinders (93 d15b7)
Timing could be off, but most like it's not. If the oil didn't change it then the piston rings are good. Do a leak down test, it's probably your valves.
