Well i was in a accident like 6 months ago, and my bushings got broken apart. When i go over bumps my suspension rattles, only on the front right. I have been driving like this ever since.

Do you think it will cause any major damage? I will be taking a 13000 mile trip in a month, and want to know if I should get it fixed or if there is even a threat of something that would happen? thanks

Which bushings? If its a suspension bushing then the worse thing would be a bad ride.

13,000 mile trip? where you going Alaska?

it is for the front LCA, sorry it is a 1,300 mile trip.

but the thing im worried about is the bolt that holds it together rubbing because it doesn't have the rubber bushing, so I kind of think it might get worn and break. but that is prolly just me being paranoid.

I dont think you have anything to worry about. When you stop for gas check it and see whats up.

If your extremely paranoid just replace the LCA.

well i was thinking about just doing it anyways, because i found bushings for both sides of the front on ebay for $50, and then the local shop wants $50 per side.

i moved and dont have a garage to do any work in so I am left to take it to the shop

you know what...honestly for that price, it's not that bad of an idea to get it replaced...i don't think you wanna take chances with it especially triping 1300 miles...that's quit a ways...just replace it...that way you don't have to worry about it after you get back
