bad accelaration help question

Default bad accelaration help question

i have a 94 civic 1.5l its an auto but it got some go i go to the track and it runs alot slower than on the street . once pullin up to the race line im power breaking it then light turns green and my car just boggs down accerlation is so **** but then kicks in and gets up and goes what could be the problem with that .? also happen and go t-bone because of car boggin down then steppin on gas pedal ? can anyone help

CHECK YOUR TPS AND MAYBE YOU NEED A NEW FUEL FILTER

the problem is that you failed to charge the battery to your Hot Wheels Barbie car, Barbie no go fast when battery go poo...poo...bad thing happen when it is, it much faster with charged battery, even out vroom tonka truck at track, fix battery, go vroom vroom more...vroom vroom...then car much faster and not so bipolar

best thread i've read all day!

but in all seriousness, if your automatic car boggs when you "brake-torque" your tranny is on its way out. not like brake torqueing is gonna do anything for a d15 auto. do you enjoy running 18s a the track?

nice analogy...

power braking, is that holding gas and brakes while in gear???

that probably isn't a great thing for the torque converter...this is not RWD where you have the good brakes not on the drive wheels...

check ur motor, u need a new one or at least a manual 1.5L

i believe all auto civic 1.5L non vtec will do the boggin due to poor acceleration , torque, and hp.
