Default bad 02 sensor

i just recently extended the wires on my primary o2 sensor and secondary, i used the extension givien with the header on the second one, and made my own for the primary. first time i forgot to wrap the wires and i shorted out fuse 15. rewired and check engine light went away. came back on next day and pulled code 63. took it to a shop for further diagonse and they say its a bad secondary o2 sensor. i'm thinking the problem is in the wiring somewhere, but where? anyone have any expierience with this sort of problem? btw i dont have shielded wire, and did solder all connections.

could take somewhere to have a five gas macj\hine hooked up it will tell you if the cats bad basiccly. or just replace the secondary o2 and if doesnt go away then you know the cats is bad
