Well tomorrow I should be picking up my tag and finally be able to drive my hatch again. Hasnt hit the road since October of last year due to emissions and money issues.

3rd times a charm I guess. Finally passed the emissions by the tiniest margin. I guess I was just lucky today.



For those who fail emissions big time here is what I did to pass:

-catylitic convertor
-o2 sensor
-Plugs
-Wires
-Oil change
-Valve adjustment
-Timing set to stock (16 BTDC)

Before this test I really drove the **** out of it. Redlined it a whole bunch. I was sure it was warmed up when the muffler burnt the F*ck out of my arm. (Dont ask).
Well I cant wait til tomorrow. Thanks to those who threw me some tips

What motor was in your car when you passed (was it the B18C5 like your sig says)? What problems did you run into that caused your car to be out of commision for so long?

its a 95 gsr motor all stock internals w/ boltons.

I failed horribly in every category the first time when I took it in last year.

I think my o2 went out and made me run real rich in turn clogging up my cat.

Money and parts issues kept me grounded til now. I hate working 9-5. Nothing is open on the weekends and everything is closed once I leave.
