back again. this time e-brake question.
So I finally got that stubborn bolt out of the LCA and got my rear disc setup mounted. I got the e-brake cables bolted up and everything. The thing is, when I pull up on the ebrake cable (all the way), the tires still move. The equilizer bracket is installed and the adjustment nut is adjusted all the way, so what could it be? Does the system have to get bled first?

yeah, I actually figured it out. The system does have to be bled first. Thanks though.

when you think about it. the e-brake works mechanicaly so even if you had no fluid in the system when you pull up on the e-brake the rear brakes still grab. usualy with this concern people forget to put the c-clip on the caliper therefore allowing the e-brake cable to move too much.

no when you push on the brake pedal, brake fluid pushes on the rear caliper piston and apply's the rear brakes. when you park your car and apply the e-brake, you are manually pushing the pads against the rotor. the cable itself is not hydralic.
