B20vtec reliability?

Default B20vtec reliability?

anyone with b20vtec know how reliable they are and about how much they cost to piece together?

You're a newbie and all, so noone is going to give you too much hell.

Try searching the Archives for more info, but I'll give you a rundown.

Cliffnotes: B20\VTEC is as reliable and you build it, and it depends on how much knowledge\experience you have and if how willing you are not to take shortcuts.

Fast = $$$$
Fast + Reliable = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $

Unless you are trying to be very fast...go for a stock B18c1, or a B16a.

If your a baller type, a B18c5...Or jspec of any of the above...

2L Setups are for those of us who are shooting for big power, money not being the issue before being fast.

Go with a stock motor, and work from there...you'll thank me later.

b20vtec......20k miles.....rev'd to 8500 daily.....over 2000 raod racing miles....over 350 drag launches....who knows how many street races....85 mph is 5500 rpms....and i drive that 400 miles a week....i think it's reliable....but that's me....if you want it built like mine...mine's forsale....IM for more info
