b20b potential?
What is the potential of the b20b crv motor? i was just lookin it up and thinking of a swap. would this be a good motor to boost in the future? does anyone here have a b20b swapped into a civic or teg? what would the pros and cons of this swap? ive heard the h22 thing and how its not the greatest to boost on stock motor. just any info about it would be great.

Re: b20b potential? (VTcivic)
It would depend on what you were looking to do with the motor. If you were going to boost or actually tear everyting apart and rebuild a sick all motor than the B20 would be a wiser choice. The B20 blocks can be bought cheap and that leaves a ton of room and money for the build up. Also, I am a fan of torquey motors. Look at the torque numbers - 133ft-lbs @ 4300 RPM. For the price of the h22 swap, you could probably build a hell of a CRVTEC swap (B20 block w/ VTEC head) or hell turbo the sucker! Either way CRV is the way to go.
