Default B20b with ls head.

Well thats my set up and what do yall think i can take it too?? 7k rpm? or could i go more... I would go more but dont wanna mess the head up. I just built it and gots like 40 miles on the motor... Fells like it needs a valve adjustment. Fells like it bogs alittle and valves sound a little loud in tha head.

7K for now untill you break it in. you shouldn't be on it till it has at least 1000 miles to break all the seals in though. I never herd of a B20 with Ls head I heard of a Ls With a B20 head though. And He revs To 7400 with no problems.

Well, I personally don't know how to answer that question, but I have a question for you. Will you be making any power in that RPM range? What cams are you running?

WRONG! If properly broken in and assembled you only need 35 miles on the engine...

Well i was gonna use the b20 head but the ppl that rebuilt it first didnt use a torque wrench and broke 3 bolts in the cam caps so i had a obd0 ls head and used that. So im useing all the b20 cams and cam caps and lifters. Is that bad? Im used to messing with vtec heads not ls and b20 heads. But as in the rebuild i did it my self. And I plasti gauge it and it came out on rods .038 and dont remember the main, but new npr rings and head gasket.
