unless your talking a new/rebuilt engine and tranny that sounds high to me.

Not New
b20 (less than 40,000 miles JDM) 650.
GSR Tranny (less than 60,000 miles) 800
GSR Head ranging from 400-600
P28 ECU Programed 100-125
Mounts and Shift Linkage 150 or less
CV Joints (new) 100 or so
Labor $500
------------------------------------------
Total--- about 2700-2800

Now, I know these prices b'cuz its what i'm doing to my EG. My EG is already manual tranny but i cant imagine that the switch should be that much more. Now if your getting a rebuilt tranny and motor that would raise the price significantly, otherwise, i think i would shop around some more.

just my 2 cents

5000 is way to much

no more than 3500

or do it yourself.... for the price of 500 labor you can get your own tools and learn a lot!

Plus you get to keep the tools! Swaping head and engines is easy. Just have a shop do the machine work and you're set!

WOW YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY! I would never pay that much for a b20v swap. You can get an ITR swaped in your car for that price. You all are crazy.

Are you a n00b at reading as well? My daughter is done with her dick and jane book, care to borrow it?

He also has to have a auto to manual conversion done, which is not done quickly. Most shops charge a flat fee per hour, and that adds up.

WOW 5 Grand, well for whats going down seems like a fair price. Why B20 VTEC though be prepared for oil problems out the yin-yang. I also have to ask has the block been prepared for the revs of the VTEC head? Good Luck with this personally I hope it all works out but I'd just go GSR save money and effort

WTF: 9 grand for a Type-R for that go K-series, seriously amazing what shops will charge
