B20 v tec ?'S
ok check it out guys, im in the army and am currently deployed in iraq. i had a 92 hb with a turbo GSR. it was stolen and stripped 3 months into deployment. it sucks bad. but anyways, i just bought a b20b block i was going to do a b20 v-vtec conversion with a stroker kit and slap on another turbo kit and i was woundering:
1)do i need to install oil skwirters?
2)which stroker kit should i go with?
3)should i buy OEM or a cosmetic head gasket?
4) how big is to big is bore/stroke?
5) and also does any one have any HP/TQ numbers on a b20 v-tec setup
i would like to have all of my parts waiting for me at home when i go on leave in 2 months.
thanks ahead of time for the input

dont boost on a b20, the sleeves are weak. get a gsr and put aftermarket rods and pistons in it, safe for up to 15 lbs on stock sleeves

Unless he decides to get it sleeved.
I don't know much about stroker kits, but I don't see the point in it really especially if you're gonna boost. I wouldn't think more stroke is necessary with a 2.0l turbo. Thats just me though. I think if anything I'd rather sleeve it first.

Re: B20 v tec ?'S (armygsrcivic)
and i also want to throw in a stroker kit to get the most out of my motor. like i said price aint really an issue here. buy the way i was planning on building the motor to handle 35 PSI of boost and i was thinking of either a gt35R or a gt40r turbo for this motor. what do you guys think would be the best turbo setup for this motor? im setting it up for mostly drag but i also want to keep it street legal at the same time. also on pump gas

1. No.
2. Crower makes a nice one.
3. Cometic
4. 87x95 (2.2L) is the largest I have seen on a race engine. Don't plan on it lasting long.
Good luck running 35psi on a GT35/40 on pump gas. Pointless. C16 for sure.
