B20 swap problems
the swap ive been working on for the past 2 days is nearly completed.
although i have a couple things holding me back
first, the main hose that leads from the bottom of the radiator to the block, there is a small piece in between the two and i have a hose connector that i cannot find anything to connect it with. what does it connect to?
secondly i have two clips that i cannot find anywhere for them to connect with, some people say look harder and some say that i do not use the clips
also on the gsr transaxle i do not have a bracket for the shift linkage stabalizer bar, does anyone happen to have a pic of how the bracket mounts to the tranny? apparently my d series does not fit.
i have pics but my cable is down, i will try and upload them soon
please guys try and help me
im is xlerate93
edit- it is going into a 93 del sol Si

Re: B20 swap problems (xlerate93)
just buy a nipple from a parts store and block it off.
at schucks i just go throught *HELP brand section and use the vacuum block offs.
you wont need to use the small coolant outlet its to route coolant through and back from your throttle body. why not block off heat going to the tb.
for you tranny use gsr shift linkage. single cam does not work.

Re: B20 swap problems (djhatch)
this wont affect performance or anything?
if it routes it through and back, which other hose do i need to block off?
as for the linkage i have a sol, and have the DOHC VTEC linkage that is required, but im confused to as how it mounts to the gsr tranny

one end slides on a rod and is held in with a pin.
then you have the torque rod which has a circle bushing on the end.
that goes around a rod and held on with a washer and bolt.
go to the dealer have them print you out a part schematic for a shift linkage for a gsr and you ll see what i mean.
