Re: B20 swap into EG help!!
im also planning on doing this swap in the future
whats the difference of obd1 and obd2?
what parts don't make a difference?
and which ones do you really need to be obd1?
maybe thats to much idk
couldn't you just block off the extra sensors on obd2 parts n run obd1?

Re: B20 swap into EG help!!
but for the list, i have a couple questions for the things listed above
1. if i am getting an OBD1 LS IM with the fuel rail/PR, why can't i just use the fuel injectors from the same IM, its still OBD1??
2. i seem to remember reading from somewhere the D16Z throttle cable can be reuse for B20B swap
3. as for the IAT, whats that and where do i plug the D16Z6/D16A one onto the B20B/Z?(on the intake arm perhaps?) i am running OBD1 p75 by the way
thanks guys~

I don't see why we can't just use the complete ls manifold. I am gonna use the ls IM with ls injectors and rail and all...i really do think it is ok.

Re: B20 swap into EG help!!
please do... my plans have changed slightly but only pertain to the body it is going in.
Instead of a 94 hatch i am putting it in a nice lil 96 DX hatch!
still need a flywheel and clutch and motor mount kit and itll be ready to go in!

Dear Mr. Thread starter, how did this all turn out for you? I'm planning on a b20b swap for my 92 sedan. Been hardcore surfing this whole forum about different swaps and what would work for me and I'm thinking b20

"Mr. Thread starter's" last activity on the forum was back in 2011. Click and look ---> https://honda-tech.com/forums/member...gre-999634752/ <---. I'm sure it turned out totally awesome and he cruised with it for about two years. As his life gradually changed, he moved away from swapped Civics and bought a newer Accord 4-door so it would be easier to load the twins into their car seats. He still has fond memories of that EG, but doesn't have time for swaps anymore. Now he actually pays to have his oil changed at Jiffy Lube.

Re: B20 swap into EG help!!
325 for the engine
60 bucks for a full set of gaskets for the engine
50 bucks for a ls transmission with a broken ISB
20 bucks for a ls intake manifold
20 bucks for a ls throttle body
120 for axles
90 bucks for a bunch of misc parts
About 700 bucks total and I saved by not having to buy the ecu. I chipped my old ecu and tuned it.

Do you have people send the d series ECU and you make them work for the swap?
