Default B20 swap in Ek HELPP!!!! PLEASE!!

I have an ej8/Ek 5spd, currently have a jdm d15b with y8 head, I bought a b20b4 and I want to do a swap and I have quite a bit of questions. 1st: what does the driver side mount supposed to look like? I have the 99 Civic SI engine bracket, do I keep that round looking mount?... 2nd: wiring harness, do I keep the obd2 wiring harness that comes in the 1996 Honda Civic Ex coupe ej8? Or do I need to do any conversion? I can buy a p75 ECU locally, should I get that? 3rd: please list everything that d series parts would fit on a b series. Honestly the driver side mount is what is confusing me bc people always have a different mount when the do a d to b20 swap in Ek. I have $600 worth of stuff to do this build and I have to do the swap in 2 days once I have EVERY SINGLE PART that I need for this darn swap, please help

i recently provided proof with pics on here that the si mount bracket isn't needed. anyways, you'll reuse your d series mounts except the rear T bracket, that one has to be from a 99/00 si. use the wiring harness from the car, 94-01 integra or 99-00 si shift linkage. rest is easily searchable in the faqs

Well my b20 engine doesn't have the post mount that bolts on the to the block, can I use the post mount that's on my D15b or do I have to buy a SI post mount and keep the mount that bolts on the the chassis? Sorry, I'm still a lil confused someone have to literally dumb it down to retard words

You can't use your D series post mount, you're going to need a CRV or 99-00 SI 2-bolt post mount. Unless you go with an aftermarket mount bracket that accepts the 5g civic/integra style mount. Then you can use an integra 3-bolt post mount. Please check out the FAQ in this sub forum along with the hybrid section. The more research you do now, the fewer problems you will run into with installing the engine.

Yes, you re-use the liquid filled driver's side mount.

Okay then get a 99-00 SI t bracket with the stock round mount? And does Auto and Manuel tranny mount different? I see on eBay a Ek D to B swap mounts and there's 3 of them it's pretty obvious that 2 go to tranny and t bracket but the 3rd? How do I use it if I have the circle liquid thing? I sound dumb...

It's not that you sound dumb, but you are in way over your head. Take a few weeks to read more threads and watch some videos on youtube. The questions you're asking are pretty basic, and have been answered hundreds of times. Yes 99-00 T bracket with the existing 'round' mount that was used with your D series engine. Auto and Manual trans mounts are different. The ebay mount kits use an aftermarket driver side bracket that utilizes the Integra style driver side mount that replaces the liquid filled mount like the image below:

If you need to pass any state or county emissions test, you should probably stick with OBD2A. If you live in an area that does not require you to do an annual emissions compliance test, it just boils down to personal preference and availability.

Well we don't have any here in Florida and I would rather stick with obd2a but everyone that has a b20 in Ek grabs the be wiring harness, I can't use mine? So since I'm staying with obd2a what ECU should I use? Pr4? P75? Also if the distributor well the b20 is obd2 that would mean that the distributor has 1 fat plug not two but doesn't two mean two cams? Bottom line I have 1 fat plug is there supposed to be two plugs on the distributor or 1? I'm buying one, just need to make sure

you'll reroute some plugs to reach their new location, you'll need to repin your crank sensor to work with the b-series ecu.

You can repin it to fit the plug or get a conversion adapter.

Okay okay, what headers should I get without having to cut or shorten anything? Just drop in and done?

I think the b16 headers are too short for the b18 and b20 blocks and will hit the oil pan.

I believe I re-used the b16 headers on the em1 but I also re-used the rest of the em1 exhaust.

Ahhh okay okay, I'll just use an Ls header also this may be a multiple different topics but I'm doing a swap ofc and I want to know which part exactly parts from a D series would fit a B series, throttle body?, Flywheel? Any sensors that I would need to change?, D16y8 injectors but with Ls fuel rail? Swap coming up in a few days. Still having trouble with ECU, idk if I should get a Manuel ECU that's obd2a and runs good with the b20 and tune that (whichever ECU that is) or go obd1 and tune that, but rather stay obd2a. Remember guys, dumb dumb answers😀

I'll just say what I did, I kept everything 'B-series' specific in order to not run into any issues.
