B20/EK O2 sensor

I have a JDM B20 in my EK with an OBD1 ECU. Being that I have the obd2-obd1 conversion harness, I've been told that the only sensor I need is the downstream sensor. Should I be looking for a sensor from a Civic, Integra or a Crv. Or are they just all the same shite?

what the hell is a downstream sensor?

Yeah I have a CEL. I'm running ultra rich, I can smell it. I'm also burning gas like a mofo. I assumed the lack of an O2 was the reason.

If you don't already have one you will need to get a primary 4 wire O2 sensor for your chassis.

Re: B20/EK O2 sensor

So I need the primary? Ok, but from what car?

Re: B20/EK O2 sensor

Sorry I guess I was being vague. Get one from an EX, that should work. I didn't know better when I needed one for my GSR swap so I got one for an integra. The plugs were the oppisite gender than what I needed so I had to make a adapter harness because I was trying to fix it at 2am.

Do you know what cel code your getting? here read this: https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-pull-cel-d4-srs-abs-codes-code-lists-1901557/

then come back and tell us your CEL code. It could be a primary o2 sensor which is before the cat converter. Its on the downpipe of your header

Yep, that's the one I'm missing....the one on the down pipe. I guess that's the primary, I thought that was the secondary. Like I said motor's a JDM B20, but I'm using my stock harness. So should be buying an O2 sensor for D-series or B-series? I'm trying to avoid plug fitment issues.

Ok cool, so the sensor from a D-Series EX will work? Thanks.

any 96-00 civic o2 sensor will work. Im still using the one from my old single cam d16y7 motor.. any o2 sensor will work as long as it has 4 wires coming out of it.. usually its 2 black wires and 1 white and the other is green. But from any 92-95 civic, 94-01 integra will do

As long as he doesn't have an HX, those use a 5 wire O2.

Re: B20/EK O2 sensor

I think they are all the same as in the actual performance. The difference is in the wire length and connector. They should probably all work except for the 5 WIRE HX o2 Sensor.
