you are going to need a b-series tranny and proper axles, wiring harness, I'm using a p75 ecu from an integra LS. You need to have an ecu that is set to run DOHC to make it work best. Mine ran with the stock 93 vx ecu, I just didn't feel good about it.

yes a b16 tranny will work great (thats the best b sersies tranny IMO)

and which pretty much any b-series you can use integra axles (if im not mistaken) and the ecu isnto too much

thats just to give you an idea. i think you could find them cheaper right here on honda tech though

and just to throw in my two cents about this i really think you should save your money a little longer and get a b16 head to through on there and add the vtec...cause im not sure how happy you're gonna be without the vtec. i had a b20v and wow i loved it, i wish i had never blown it.

run any tranny you want. b16 gsr itr.... i think the b16 is cool for an n/a setup but if you plan to also boost use a gsr.... thats just me though the axles will come from a 94-01 integra.

94-01 integra mounts will work. 96-00 civic mounts wont work cuz theyre setup different. i believe you can use your single cam tranny mount and the driver side top mount.(if you still have it.) someone correct me if im wrong but, i think im right.

The only mount that HAS to be changed is the rear tranny mount, not the actual urethane mount that mounts directly under the firewall, but the rear T-bracket, that's what you need to change. you need a 99-00 Civic Si mount for that one, or any DC integra one. The top driver side mount that I used was a GSR one, because it was aluminum and looked nice. I think any B series or D series mount for that particular mount will work fine. It never hurts to change out all bottom mounts though, if yours are shot! I did that on mine for under $180 for all three bottom ones. You plan on keeping your stock airbox? Then you need any Ex/Si SOHC VTEC intake arm. Any B series tranny works, along with a 99-00 Si shift linkage, or JDM EG/ USDM Del Sol DOHC VTEC shift linkage. It has to be a civic shift linkage, that came with a B series. If I remember, Integra ones don't line up right, that's the only thing I am not 100% sure on. I had a 99 Si tranny (B16) with the same car's shift linkage, as for that tranny...I LOVED IT!!! I didn't have VTEC either on my B20, but it's still fun. The only bad thing, is that you will hardly be able to downshift to 4th on the fwy, because your RPMs are already cruising at about 4500k+, at exactly 100mph your RPMs are 5k. Also B16 trannys tend to wear down their synchros, causing grinds when shifting from gear to gear, so try to find a good one. The B20s redline is like 7k or so, but I still got like 22-26mpg if I remember? I ran an OBD-I Integra LS ECU, worked fine. Also got a B&M Fuel Pressure Regulator, to help fix the low fuel pressure that the LS ecu was feeding the B20. Remember, 2.0 liters, ECU thinks its 1.8. That FPR runs about $50, and is super easy to install. You barely notice its there, unlike the AEM ones, or other off brand ones. Stick to the B&M one, and get the optional guage that they sell too. Run the fuel at 40psi, its a little bit lower than that stock. Umm what else...run at least 205 width tires if possible, cause its fairly easy to slip the tires when taking off from a stand still. Axles...are any B-series axles. Your stock wire harness will all plug up, but you'll need an OBD-I distributor for plug and play...unless your OBD-II engine came with the engine harness, then just plug all 3 big plugs into the shock tower plugs. Done deal. I think this is the kind of info you were looking for, since this is the stuff I wished I knew before getting my swap. Hope I helped a bit. I don't stop by the EG+ forums that much anymore.

im just using stock integra mounts, but they arent strong wnough to hold my motor when shifting hard, so im ordering poly inserts (like 60 bucks) and then it'll be like spending 300 bucks on really good mounts. thats how my homie did it on his last built car and it held better then his new car with billet mounts does.

just food for thought.

and so you know the differance in tranny.

b16 (SI) - very short gears, great for an all motor build. sucks on the freeway cause at about 70-75 you're at about 4k in the rmp band, and thats in 5th

gsr - longer gear gears, still a good powerful tranny, but better for a car with a lot of power. if you plan on doin a turbo setup this is the tranny you'll want. I've never owned a gsr tranny (b16 all the way for me) but i believe my homies car is around 5k in 5th at about 80 or so...maybe just about 5k.

ls integra tranny - the bastard child of the b series trannys. overly long gears that rob your car of power. but...this tranny is the gas saver of all b series.

ITR tranny - IMO not worth the money....though its a good tranny, but everything that has ITR in the name means $$$$$

good luck!!!

Yeah I had energy suspension urethane inserts, but I didn't use the rear one, because people say your dash vibrates way too much, and is annoying for every day driving. Also, I had to shave my mounts down a little bit to make them fit. I don't know, but maybe they design them for worn out mounts, mine were brand new. Also if you plan to stay B20, non vtec, then I suggest getting the LS tranny, due to the more usable power band of it, since this will be your daily driver...

WOW. thanks allot for all the info input guys. you are all great. if anyone can add anything else. please note it down for me I'd greatly appreciate it. thanks allot for the tranny info. and i think I'm going for the b16 tranny.

off topic.

(do you guys think any one would trade a b16 tranny for a full d15b motor with tranny it's vtec-e.)
