B20 ecu mods and compression
I went ahead and tried to search for my answer since you chaps are ***** about posting a question too many times, and I have been unable to find a documentation to my query. I just purchased some Crower 62404s and the valve spring and retainer set, Crower recommends higher compression with those cams. I am prepared to purchase those but I wanted to figure out what I should actually go with. Ericks Racing said that 11:1 would be good, but that seems a little low. Granted this car is a daily driver so street ability is a factor but being in FL, I can get 93 octane. The other part of my question is the newbie part. Being new to the Honda crowd, I am not too aware of the ecu tricks that you guy pull. Is an ecu and chip combination that would give me a more aggressive curve or that would be better suited to the above modifications. As a side note, further down the lines, I might add a little nitrous so if that is a factor let me know. Thanks.
