Put your flame suit on. It really depends on alot of factors. For example, what kind of car are you putting it in? Also, kinds of mods, etc....

well i hope i can do a little better than that. im gettin cam gears, afc, headers, i already have a cai. also b20 is a 2.0 i think ill have a little more torque than a b18b. that will help put some more power to the ground.

So are you just going to run the whole b20 motor, or are you goingto change the head?

I had a 1993 DX coupe, ran 14.4 @ 96 on street tires with shortram intake, 4-1 header, 2.5 testpipe, 2.5 N1 catback, LS' 5-speed manual cams, GSR tranny. GREAT motor and does not compair to the B18b LS motor. It is a very underrated motor. To do teh swap (correctly) you have to put the LS stuff on it to get it (correct). Mine made 153whp. Maybe a factory freek? maybe not. Good luck man if you get it you will love it

EDIT: 97' B20b

before anyone says it.. don't start this thread into "Sleeves are weak" thread.

Several people with B20tecs have had some problems with sleeve issues, why? here is my guess :

they are running 12.5-13.5:1 compression
Revving to 9,000+ rpms
Running 15-20psi of boost
Still trying to "make due" with 93 octain (boosted or high comp.)
lack of tunning.

yeah, sleeves may be a little weaker. but with tunning I dont see why the potentual isnt there.

Another thing why i think this happens...

Why are you going to run a stock sleeved block anyways revving to 9k+ with 13:1 compression with no tunning?
If you want a race motor.. I know several builders that have 84.5-85mm sleeved bottomends... Pushing the lemits will do wonders on any sleeve.
(I've heard several stories and the owner had no clue why they cracked, both LS and CRV)

Sorry. I know this thread was gonna end up saying something about it so i had to be teh first to post my opinion and what i think.

(I'm not Honda so I'm not saying that what i have said is the "correct" thing, but it is deffinaly one of the main causes and issues I've read and seen)

What i think:
b18b
b20b
B20z

I like them all

B20b's came with weak cams and I've seen dyno charts with almost a 10whp difference with the B18b 5-speed cams in it (same as the B20z cams) If you have a B20Z already then dont worry about the cams. they are the same as the LS 5speed cams

Other LS stuff:
LS Intake Manifold (b18b
LS Throttlebody (b18b)
LS Throttle Cable (b18b)
LS flywheel (b18b)
LS 5speed Cam's (b18b)
LS 5speed ECU (b18b)
err... I think somthign else to?...
