B20 for $350... should I get it?

B20 for $350... should I get it?
Well I've been looking to get a b18c1 for my 92 civic sedan but that means I'd have to take out a loan. Since I cant really make payments I'm screwed. Well I met a guy that bought a b20 long block w/ LS driveshafts for $700 and he doesnt want it anymore. He told me if I wanted it I could get it for $350. Also, he can get me a type r tranny w/ a spoon LSD for $400, and an ITR manifold for $200. He wasnt sure as to how much an ECU would be but he said it wouldnt be much. Anyway, I can almost afford all of that stuff right now, and I can get an SI head when I can afford it. So you think I should go for it or get a b18c1?

gimme a break.. that sounds too good to be true, like outrageously cheap.
an ITR tranny WITH lsd for $400?
I mean the lsd alone is worth $400, used.
crap, are you pulling our leg or is the seller gankin' yours?

um, for 400 i'd buy the typeR tranny with LSD, I couldnt use it but would make a really nice coffee table conversation piece

He's got all the papers on it to show its legit, so I know its not hot. I'm almost 100% sure that I'm going to get it I just wanted some other perspectives.

He said Spoon Sports LSD didnt he?? lol that isnt $400... its $1,200-$1,400 just for taht LSD... and spoon parts hold their value. Just make sure you see ths parts for your self before handing over the cash.. and get him to point out the Spoon LSD.. on almost all their parts they will have it labled. and bring a friend that is kinda big just incase he wants to jump you for your money 
just kidding... but just check out what your buying... is it a B20a, b20b, or b20z?? If its a B20a its a POS engine u can pick up for butt cheap at almost all local junk yards (older prelude engine). good luck man...

I bought my B20 for $500. But an ITR tranny for $400 is just too good to be true. Either the guy is an damn idiot or it's stolen, or both.
