well for starters i used to have a crx(pos) and i traded for a eg hatch, blindedly and it was a good trade but alot of crap on the car was rigged, i have so fourth set out to de rig the car and make it as nice as possible, mods at begening were stock d15 intake and exhaust ksport coilovers tie bars and rota gt3s.
heres my progress :D

first i painted the car all one color, yes spray bombed but hey atleast its one color, then i got rid of the ugly exhaust and raised it a bit, then i stared a lil wire tuck(just battery and fuse box)then i went on tho the brakes, used a full rear disc swawp from my old teg i totaled, got rear discs, then it was on to power, picked up a z6 head, FOR FREE. got all the parts i needed for that. shorty after i traded my junk b16 and a ls tranny for a full greddy turbo kit missing a few little things, picked up a dp an intercooler and pillar gauge.

on the other note anyone know how to upload pics? it says they timed out and it takes to long...

as you cam see. it has gone a long way, i have owned it for about 2 months now. i also forgot to include that i have had about 5 different sets of wheels on it, now im to the rota slips. i really like the look of the car. keep posted for updates! im always working on this car lol. turbo should be going together soon. im hoping to have it done and tuned by the end of the year.

on the other not, anyone have any idea how to fix the rear wheel well arches, look in the first pic PO welded new ones in and warped them a bit.

finally got her first wash in over a month, been too cold, ont the other note ingnore the ricey hood traded it for my old beat up one with hood pin holes, just wanted something without holes. lol comment your opions or help. all is appreciated!!

Can you reach under the rear quarter fenders and feel the rust bubbling the metal out?

If so, is it bad enough that you don't think you can grind some of it out to expose non-rusted metal; you may be in good shape; likelihood of that is low though.
I'd also pop the bumper(s) off to get a good pic of what it looks like underneath.
Where you may not see any damage on the surface, you may have loads of rust hidden under the other panels, I do on mine for example.

I see what you mean wanting to re-weld then... you may be able to save that, but you're going to have a hard time smoothing that body out.

there is not rust on the car atm, it was all repaired but as you can tell it was very bad, the welder warped the quarts, and the lip on the fender well is gone.

idk yet really, im waiting on the cash to start flwoing, im thing mini me turbo till it pops then go up to a b18b swap. turbo that and call it a day for the most part, me and my pops are waiting on spring to roll around to start alying paint, its got xxr 522s now also. ill post some pics in a little bit
