B18c5 swap w/problems need help!!!!!
ok heres the setup
1996 honda civic hb cx
2000 itr swap
96-98 dx harness w/vtec wired to ecu
obd2 A to Obd2 B jumper harness
vtec controller
and heres the problem.
when the car gets up to about 2500 rpmds it seems like its hitting the rev limiter. it won't go past 2500. it seems like its getting a fuel cut, any ideas?

There isn't any knock sensor in that harness, is there? Just the Y5's and Y8's had knock sensors AFAIK.

ok this is a friends car so i'm just posting for him, so hes going to get me the codes but he said he ran the knock sensor directly to the ecu. but as soon as i get the codes i'll post them. thanks.

yah its in limp mode. what ecu you are you using? if it is something that you had chipped then that could be your problem, improper chip install.
